Volunteers
Volunteering is an exciting and rewarding way to participate with Audubon. We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals or groups of people to support and enhance our programs.
Interpretive Volunteers focus on guided tours and facilitate hands-on activities with guests. Specific duties may include being able to answer questions and provide information on the flora and fauna of the area. Volunteers receive training, and may work on weekdays and weekends.
School Program Volunteers help facilitate scheduled group programs for school children. School Group Programs are age-specific (K-12) and meet state education standards. The programs are typically held on weekday mornings. Volunteers for these programs complete extensive training, and this program requires dependable individuals who can make a substantial time commitment.
Habitat Volunteers assist in a variety of ways, from light gardening and maintenance in our butterfly garden, to helping with native plant restoration and other more intensive projects.
